ChargeFox at Lismore- how it should be done

More chargers would be nice, but one is a good start

The Lismore Chargefox site has a large PV roof offering shade and rain protection for vehicles, charging or not, with the runoff watering a bed of various plants. Well done whomever was responsible! The 75kW (which it did deliver) charger can have both CCS and CHAdeMO operating simultaneously. I hope they add more chargers as demand increases.

OT:  Also, since there is no way to send PMs on this forum...

NRMA_Paul ? Thanks for removing that dodgy "EV hazards" post!

I was just typing a response when the post vanished!

Click bait for a sensationalist youtoob video, much of unsubstantiated speculation presented as fact. Plenty of images of war zone destruction and smoke stack pollution, and much talk of terrifying gases like Carbon monoxide, which happens to be a significant component of ICE exhausts (not mentioned in the video).

.

EDIT: I see that post has returned...

Another EDIT:  Glad to see it has been removed again!

It’s so great that they took the initiative.  I know that sometimes it isn’t possible to do the same at other sites but it should be made a top priority as well as refitting existing sites. Even if it is only an insulated roof and the PVs can come later.
