Advice on access to EV Chargers on New England Hwy
We need to travel north in January to see family from Mudgee to Coffs harbour in our ATTO3 requiring a CCS/SAE fast charger to do the trip in the day.. We previously have chosen the inland route through Tamworth and Armidale in ICC, however Tamworth charger is Out of order and has been for a long time- NRMA any estimate for repairs? Armidale is showing only one charger.
We noticed there is a 4 stand Tesla supercharger in Tamworth, but uncertain if we can access this
Can the EV community advise whether a ATTO3 can charge at the Tesla supercharger on Tamworth (with an adapter) - AND what type of adapter would we require.

Hello @Stonecottages we are sorry for the delay in repairs for Tamworth. You'll be pleased to know that we've replaced the fast charger at Tamworth with a newer model and the site is now operational once again, with an update added on Plugshare.
Unfortunately, Tesla superchargers are still proprietary chargers and can only be used by Tesla. Hopefully though, we'll start to see more charging infrastructure continue to roll out as EV ownership increase in Australia.
